Movendo e redimensionando janelas

You can move and resize windows by dragging them. The system also provides the following shortcuts and modifiers to help you efficiently arrange windows:

  • Mova uma janela arrastando a barra de título, segure Super e arraste para qualquer lugar na janela. Segure Shift enquanto move para atrair a janela para as bordas do ecrã e outras janelas.

  • Resize a window by dragging the edges or the corners of the window. Hold down Shift while resizing to snap the window to the edges of the screen and other windows.

  • Maximize a window by dragging it to the top of the screen. Drag a window to one side of the screen to snap it to that side, allowing you to tile windows side by side.

  • Move or resize a window using only the keyboard by pressing Alt+F7 to move or Alt+F8 to resize. Use the arrow keys to move or resize the window, then press Enter to confirm or Esc to return to the original position and size.

In most applications (specifically, GTK3 and GTK4), you can move a window by clicking and dragging anywhere in the application's header bar, including buttons and icons.
