Συνδυασμοί χρωμάτων

Εάν δεν σας αρέσει το προεπιλεγμένο θέμα του Τερματικού, ίσως να θέλετε να αλλάξετε τα χρησιμοποιούμενα χρώματα για το κείμενο και το παρασκήνιο. Μπορείτε να χρησιμοποιήσετε χρώματα από το θέμα σας, να επιλέξετε μία από τις προεπιλογές ή να χρησιμοποιήσετε ένα προσαρμοσμένο σχήμα.

Χρήση χρωμάτων από το θέμα του συστήματός σας

Για να χρησιμοποιήσετε χρώματα από το θέμα του συστήματος:

  1. Press the menu button in the top-right corner of the window and select Preferences.

  2. In the sidebar, select your current profile in the Profiles section.

  3. Select Colors.

  4. Επιλέξτε Χρήση χρωμάτων από το θέμα του συστήματος. Οι αλλαγές θα εφαρμοστούν αυτόματα.

Ενσωματωμένα θέματα

You can choose one of the built-in color schemes: Black on light yellow, Black on white, Gray on black, GNOME light, GNOME dark, Green on black, White on black, Tango light, Tango dark, Solarized light, Solarized dark. To set any of the built-in schemes:

  1. Press the menu button in the top-right corner of the window and select Preferences.

  2. In the sidebar, select your current profile in the Profiles section.

  3. Select Colors.

  4. Βεβαιωθείτε ότι το Χρήση χρωμάτων από το θέμα του συστήματος είναι αποεπιλεγμένο. Επιλέξτε τον επιθυμητό συνδυασμό χρωμάτων από τα Ενσωματωμένα χρώματα. Οι επιλογές συνδυασμού χρωμάτων εφαρμόζονται αυτόματα.

  1. Press the menu button in the top-right corner of the window and select Preferences.

  2. In the sidebar, select your current profile in the Profiles section.

  3. Select Colors.

  5. Click on the color you would like to change.

    You can choose the desired color in the following ways:

    • Εισάγετε τον δεκαεξαδικό κωδικό χρώματος στο πλαίσιο εισαγωγής.

    • Μεταφέρτε τον ολισθητή στα αριστερά για να ρυθμίσετε τα χρώματα και πατήστε στο επιθυμητό χρώμα στην περιοχή επιλογής χρώματος.

Μπορείτε επίσης να αλλάξετε ένα χρώμα όταν έχετε επιλέξει έναν ενσωματωμένο συνδυασμό πατώντας στην ομάδα δείγματος χρώματος. Αφού το αλλάξετε, η επιλογή σας στο ενσωματωμένο μενού συνδυασμών θα αλλάξει σε Προσαρμογή.

Traditionally terminal emulators offered a 16 color palette, this is what you can alter here. Terminal supports an extended set of 256 colors, but the additional 240 colors cannot be edited here.

Terminal even offers direct access to over 16 million colors, this is called “true color” mode.

If the changes you make to the palette do not seem to have an effect, presumably the contents you see consist of such extended palette colors or true colors, rather than the 16 base colors.

Bright colors for bold text

Traditionally terminals didn't clearly separate bold font weight from intense colors, often both of them were enabled together. Recent improvements, such as the introduction of true color support, and certain color schemes (e.g. Solarized) made it desirable to separate the two concepts, that is, make the brightness independent from the font weight.

In order to choose your preferred behavior:

  1. Press the menu button in the top-right corner of the window and select Preferences.

  2. In the sidebar, select your current profile in the Profiles section.

  3. Select Colors.

  4. Disable Show bold text in bright colors for the new default behavior, the complete separation of color intensity and font weight; or enable this option for improved backward compatibility.
