Bestanden herstellen

You can browse and view files and folders in a backup archive using a file browser like GNOME Files.

  1. Als u meerdere back-ups hebt, dient u eerst de overeenkomstige back-up te selecteren in het overzicht.

  2. Selecteer het tabblad Archieven.

  3. Selecteer het archief met de datum en het tijdstip waarvan u de bestanden wilt herstellen. Als het overeenkomstige archief niet in de lijst staat, kunt u de verversknop gebruiken om de archieflijst bij te werken.

  4. Gebruik de optie Blader door opgeslagen bestanden en wacht totdat de bestandsbeheerder geopend wordt.

  5. Make use of the GNOME Files features to find the corresponding files and view them or to copy them to your computer.

  6. Close Pika Backup or eject the backup archive via the eject button

GNOME Files will not preserve permissions when copying from the backup archive. To restore files with correct permissions, use cp -a on the commandline.
