Hyperlinks and email addresses
Terminal parses the terminal output and automatically detects snippets of text that are web addresses or email addresses. Web and email addresses are automatically highlighted when you point your cursor to the text, indicating that the link can be opened in an application.
For example, you may see http://www.gnome.org or username@example.com generated as a part of terminal output by programs such as wget or curl.
Open or copy web addresses
Web addresses are also called hyperlinks. They can be copied to the system clipboard or opened in your preferred web browser.

Copy a hyperlink:
Right click on the link in Terminal.
Select Copy Link.

Open a hyperlink in your web browser:
Right click on the hyperlink.
Select Open Link.
Email or copy email addresses
Email addresses can be copied to the system clipboard or opened in your preferred email client.

Copy an email address:
Right click on the email address in Terminal.
Select Copy Mail Address.

Send mail to the email address using your email client:
Right click on the address.
Select Send Mail To….
