To change the size of the game board, in order to increase or decrease the complexity of the game, click Tetravex in the top bar and click Size, then select the dimension of the board.
You can select from five different dimension, from 2×2 to 6×6. The default one is 3×3.
If the pieces are too small, resizing the window will change their size.
