› SyncTeX » The following packages need to be installed in order to add support for SyncTeX:
A LaTeX engine with SyncTeX support, such as pdflatex.
A text editor with SyncTeX support, such as gedit with gedit-plugins installed.
In gedit, enable the SyncTeX Plugin:
Click Edit ▸ Preferences ▸ Plugins tab.
Check SyncTeX.
